What happened to Saft? It hasn't been updated in a long time. Has development on it quit? I've sent emails to the developer and haven't gotten a response.

I have been wondering the same thing. still on Safari 5.0.5 which is the last version it works on

I contacted him several times and he always responded. However after the Tsunami in Japan I attempted to reach him several times to no avail. Either he was catastrophically uprooted or he left this world. Bummer when we lose such talented people. Makes you think about how precious life is. It was certainly my favorite app and so versatile.

Wow. I didn't know he was from Japan. It would be very sad indeed if he died because of the earthquake or tsunami. It's funny that I haven't read anything about him in the Mac media. I've asked around a bit and nobody knows anything about him.
