Taboo is a SIMBL plugin that provides a warning before quitting or closing a browser window containing multiple tabs.

It also allows you to disable the annoying warning messages when downloading a file which contains an application by executing the following command from the terminal:

defaults write com.ocdev.taboo ShouldDisplaySecurityWarnings -bool NO

Taboo 0.3 is PowerPC only. On Intel machines you can use TabStop.
