Turns out, I wasn't the only one frustrated with this screen clutter so I wrote a small Safari 5 extension to fix that."

He didn't stop with the menu on the left, but he also removed the Adwords ads on the right.

Unfortunately, the glorious space on the right remains unclaimed. Maybe Mark can fix this in a future update.
