Disappointed in Safari 5.1 tabs

If there's just one thing (there's not) that I wish the Safari team would borrow from Chrome, it's the tabs.

• Favicons - c'mon now. What's the problem with dressing the tabs up with some visual cues? Don't make me bring glims back in, eh?
• Smart closing - In Chrome, when you close a tab, the next tab moves into its place with the mouse positioned over the x. This way, you can close several tabs with zero effort. The tabs don't resize until you mouse off of the tabs. Brilliant.
• Pinning tabs - not a huge deal, but why not?

I guess I'll have to bring Glims back. I guess I should test it on Safari 5.1 anyway
