If you're enrolled in the Apple Safari Extension Developer program, you surely received this email by now. I got two.
The way this is worded, it looks like Apple is preparing us for potentially a high bar for inclusion: "The Safari Extensions Gallery will feature selected extensions that offer an innovative user experience."
They're also touting one-click installation which sounds to me like a browser update will be coming along with the Gallery. Currently, you must download the safariextz package and 'run' it to install. Not exactly a seamless process like Firefox and Chrome users enjoy.
Developers start your extengines! (groan Yeah, sorry about that.)
